changing the colors, grains, noise, exposure, vibrancy, saturation, contrast etc can improve a picture. It's literally the same thing as mixing vocals, drums, etc. It's no different. Typically people don't just draw something and upload it without any addition to it at all. How often do you hear vocals that just get put out raw and unmixed? Literally never. I was giving him examples of things he could do, if they aligned with his art direction cool, if not I know everyone has their own ideas and vision in mind. I listened to the tape in it's entirety and gave my own take on it.

And yeah you saying "trash filters" wasn't meant to be serious, but I don't like people talking s*** on art. Critiquing and admitting it's not your things is completely diff than calling something trash.

I know post production work goes for artwork too of course, good idea to show exemples

Yeah, I'm always trying to improve - always. My issue is the lack of listeners. Any artist will tell you this but it isn't about the money, but the idea of seeing your work appreciated and share.

And you'll get there soon as well. Once you keep improving, people will start noticing you, s*** its already happening. Just be patient. The connections will come

Just listened, all of these songs have a very strong presence and atmosphere. I have a few comments, I think your percussion could definitely give your music a better packaged feel if it was more dynamic, it feels really linear. Also I didn't hear any instances of u flexing your vocals man the vocals definitely got lost in the mix. Pls take all these comments with a grain of salt, I'm no expert, I just have feelings.

Thanks a lot man; these songs have my vocals in the back-seat, unlike the songs on my self-titled album. I wish I had better drum packages, tbh; the ones I have sound trash, and took a lot of work to make them sound good.
