Kendrick has been dope from time. Nothing but facts OP

  • Draped in some fly s*** call me Jeff Goldblum

  • That last verse too real

  • I miss his old rapping style so much

    That's not Kendrick. That's K. Dot.

His maturity, honesty, intelligence, and prose are unmatched tbh

I think that I finally reached the pinnacle
Of finding myself as an individual
    The world is so typical
I just wanna be higher than that
I used to want to be the messiah of Rap
Infatuated with becoming a relevant star
Trying to say goodbye to the glamorous chains and cars
That I never had, but wrote it in my raps to make you mad

You heard my hip-hop when I was 16 years old
Well that was me then, now I'm an adult
22, like the smallest of guns that you know
Most determined, but with the smallest of funds to show
    But I'm not worried

Which Pre-S80 Kendrick is worth listening to? Someone put me on

  • May 2, 2020

Kendrick Lamar EP always gets me because that was when I became a super fan. He and BJ gave us some healing music. It’s crazy because you can argue that nigga or the nigga we have now is better and I wouldn’t argue against either.

Equally as amazing. You can see the evolution from both though. You can telll he really started to get accustomed to rhyming on overly dedicated and his conceptual tracks started becoming more abstract and concise.

If you just wanna hear him spit bars then the mixtapes as K. Dot (HUB CITY, TRAINING DAY, NO SLEEP TILL NYC, C4) are nice but he started taking his artistry more serious with the Kendrick Lamar EP so def listen to that and OD

Would only suggest KLEP if you're a diehard Kendrick fan, otherwise it probably wont do much for you at this point in time.
