I feel like the major names we saw at the pop out and mv are the ones likely to be on the album
Steve Lacy
Thundercat
YG
Roddy
Tyler (produced track if not a feature)
Mustard
Black Hippy
I would like to see some of the legends like Quik on there
Yep. E-40 and Dr Dre as well. Maybe a newer guy like Remble.

The thing is, Kendrick dont really have many features on an album cos frankly, he dont need them. So i wouldnt be surprised if half these rappers aint featured at all
A good range of west coast Producers deffo more likely though

Love this feature list. It's either going to look like this or no features (would bet my life on Mustard production)
Hell no tf. He was never a west coast rapper and I don’t want him to start pretending like he is just cus he got a lil hit off being one for a second.
Just keep making Kendrick Lamar music

Horrible take.
TPAB alone has strong West Coast influence. Even Suga Free said so.

Real af for the Remble mention
I want him to make a whole album with Dre, DJ Quik and Battlecat type beats
But based on the snippet that likely not happening
I think he gonna mix that old west coast with the updated mustard type stuff

“He was never a West Coast rapper”

yall would still try to find a way to hate or say drake the reason he made the album lol

Also there’s a lot of west coast influence in OD and TPAB (Wesley’s Theory, King Kunta, These Walls, You Ain’t Gotta Lie, i)
I don’t think it’d be that weird for him to lean into it more at this point

Lol yes
I need whatever that goat feel like dropping
He’s never done us dirty brother
Everyone says these things but you'll never relive that high of listening to 2001 or whatever album it is the first time you did. Kendrick got to build his own path and give us Kendrick albums. It's like people saying Gambino should make a MBDTF or Drake needs a 4:44. It's too much nostalgia, nothing they make can live up to the standards. When new artists break out we'll do the same to them "I need so and so rapper to make his Barter 6 or Eternal Atake" it can't be done. 2001 was a moment in time that no one will live up to
not to mention having classic features on the album as well, Dre wasn’t just showcasing himself on 2001
