I also want to get crunchy roll.... and I use it for PlayStation. I know nothing about TVs and I’m in Canada’s so bestbuy.ca

Look at Samsung and LG TVs. It's difficult to really link any TV bc your only constraint is <$1000.

Also, don't think too much about smart TVs - all that crap is pretty dumb when you can just buy a chromecast or roku or whatever. Smart TV operating systems get outdated really quick and tend to be slow. Although, I just tried out the samsung one and thought it was p good.

Depends on what size you want. I got a 43 inch TCL TV for like 230 off Amazon before. TCL makes really good budget TVs.

Look for open box deals on best buy. A lot of times stuff will still be brand new my 55" Samsung nu6900 was ~250 a while back.

Honestly I'd stick with Sony, but that's just me personally. They always have reliable products that last. Last TV I owned was a Samsung that had some bulb go out after like 3 years. I have my old Sony from like 10 years ago that still works like new.

And also I'd suggest like that other guy: look for open box deals at best buy. You can usually get technology significantly for reduced price and it still works 99% of the time.

@Thugger this is good advice. I bought a 50 inch LG tv last year for like $350, and just use a Roku so I can stream Netflix, Hulu, etc and they make great TVs. Sony is good as well. From what I’ve been told, you want to avoid Vizio TVs. If a SmartTV is a must for you, just think about what size you want, and you can probably still find a good deal online. I don’t know s*** about tech, but I’ve always gotten good deals on TVs bc they’re nearly always on sale.

It’s not a must, but don’t have cable In my house. So I need to have Netflix (since that’s all I have) unless I plug my laptop into my tv with an HDMI cable.

I don’t really know anything about TVs at all.

usually roku/chromecast has greater functionality than smart TVs but yeah just find a samsung, lg, sony on bestbuy in your price range and size and youll be fine

This bro, a TLC is a good tv for the price, if you don’t want to be spending as much. It also has the Roku built into it. You’ll be set
