    Logic

is there way to transpose ur midi/what youre playing/ur keys in logic?

a good trick when trying to find melodies on top of someting

is to just play the white keys and then transpose the sound ur using up, listening to each one and eventually you'll land on the key of the song, and every white key will be in the key and u can easy to melodies on it

song is in G Minor so if this is confusing or unhelpful u can go look up the notes to Gminor and know thats a good starting point although some of the notes and fills are not entirely in g minor

bass notes are C, F, Bflat, Eflat

the chords are kinda like sound like two note chords to me,

first one is just C and Eflat.

then that little melody is kinda just going down each with two chords

    from the start

    u hit C minor chord.

(then each of those two notes together)

    Bflat, D
    A, C
    G, Bflat
    A,C

with the last A,C you hit F in the bass.

    the melody at 0:06 is C, D sharp, F, D sharp

then it lands on a C minor again but with a b flat in the left hand.

    then another desending melody

    G, d sharp, C, b flat,

and u hit a eflat major chord, eflat in bass when you hit the last note

im sure someone can do this even better than me but yea theres a simplish version of the main chord/melody parts. probably confusing but play along to some of the notes i wrote with the song playing and you'll figure it out for sure. and the song is G minor, so if you just transpose any of ur instruments down 2 semitones and then play all the white keys, they'll be in key with the song

Then idk how that works but cant you filter out everything but the bass and convert that file to a midi you’ll get the root note at least if you want to add bass

    That could work yeah

Yes! Midi FX in Logic can Transpose, Arpeggiate, trigger 1 note to play a chord, etc

These chords remind me of A Dream by Debarge

    @BaroudeurFlipFlop
Try adding that 16th note pattern (C, D Eb, D, C, G2) right before u start ur chords and it’s going to RING off ..ppl gonna think of ‘I ain mad at cha by Tupac’
