i read through every page of the thread. it was just people saying “yes it’s fast food music” or “op you’re an idiot”

if that thread’s op would like new music recommendations, they are welcome to ask for new music recommendations without making another “came and went” thread

Okay by that standard then lock up 75% of the threads in music sxn. People aren’t allowed to reply a certain way otherwise it gets locked? What rules were being broken

no, i mentioned the replies because you mentioned there was “good discussion” as a reason to keep it open

thread topics that boil down to “this song/album came and went” or “am i getting old or does new music not hit anymore?” have been played out for a long time. those types of threads will be locked, and you can thank DavidP for making it that way.

If this is the position of this site to ban those type of threads that’s fine, then enforce it consistently. But you are picking and choosing lol because there are a million threads every day just like that or worse that don’t get locked
