Bino is a comedian at heart. Whether that’s in singing or rap or acting or writing or directing, Bino has always been a funny ass dude
So with that being said, of course that’s gonna bleed into the music and that’s why I usually give him a BIG PASS when it goes to lines we would normal call trash or corny and make fun of
He’s a comedian and he’s always gonna incorporate it that. And I don’ find any of his lines “corny” cus he meant them to be funny coming from a COMEDIAN

Nov 2, 2021Yaphet Kotto and Centipede are the songs that made me give him a chance cause they were so much better than the stuff he dropped before. It was like he was a completely different artist. Most of the songs off camp suck, I ironically like Bonfire now and there's a few songs on Camp that are actually good. He does have a lil corniness to him but in a endearing way and funny way so I don't mind.
Because The Internet is a masterpiece and Awaken My Love is really great also. This is America was something fresh sonically and the music video is a classic. Atlanta will go down as a classic also once it's done. I just wish 3.15.20 was better. It let me down.

Nov 2, 2021It's only corny when he got conscious of the critiques for his earlier campy material, by b****ing about being labeled campy or corny or being a nerd or "not black".
But when he ignored it and let the music showcase what emotions and messages intended to evoke, he's a pretty strong artist. I think his body of work speaks for itself.
