I was going back n forth with ovrkast on twitter the other week cause he feels like the older niggas are gatekeeping the industry and not putting young niggas on. I had to tell em that the issue his gen is facing ain't gatekeeping. It's both quality and longevity. And like u said both of these cyphers reflect that.

We gave these niggas the rock for 10 years (7-8 if u wanna count the "transitional" period), and besides a few artists (who are still burning out pretty damn fast compared to previous gens) they ain't really did s*** with it. It's time to stop putting all the blame on the industry, cause that s*** always had fences. Other gens just had the skills to knock that s*** down.
