  • All I can say is, SBTH came out in 2015 December.

Trash the album all you want, (its actually not that bad, its just a meme that Fantano started with his initial review, he has actually given the album quite a bit of praise in multiple videos since then) but this was the beginning of the guitar trend in hip hop, specifically acoustic.

After that, we got this album, Beautiful Thugger Girls, Lil Peep, Juice, all producers started using guitars in their beats, like for Gunna, Lil Baby, etc etc. the list goes on and on.

Before you say REBIRTH in 2010 LIL WAYNE DID IT FIRST that album didnt influence S***, no one followed the trend in the years to come. Why? Cause that s*** was ACTUAL trash. No hate towards Wayne though, he's the goat.

And for all you Cudi discrediters that always say "he didnt influence anything, he fell off after his first album, blah blah blah"
I mean after a while, how long can you deny his obvious influence? I mean just LOOK at his timeline and the s*** that comes after. How long are you going to stay in denial when the facts are right in front of us?

Thats right, I woke up in the mood to talk my s*** today. F*** YALL HATERS

"Although I didn't listen to XXX much when he was here besides a handful of tracks not on any of his commercial projects, I do miss the time when you couldn't escape him. It was exciting (and sometimes frustrating) even if I didn't enjoy his music or care for him as a person. We will probably never see an artist quite as polarizing and loved by middle schoolers again in our lifetimes, for better or for worse. Rest in Peace to one of the most interesting artists I've ever got to witness."

    real.
