I think it was on Cool Kids tacklebox. Me and my friends would run it back over and over and over. There wasn’t much about boldy out at the time and all we really knew was that he was Chucks cousin. He had features peppered throughout the discography. Years went by and I’d grow as a listener, going on audio safaris through untrodden planes (a lot of times to explore new p**** options) but every once and a while id remember this song and think “fuck boldy James was so sick”. I thought he’d been lost to time like many rappers are (remember Pill?) but then out of no where he was back. Maybe he never went anywhere, I had just stopped looking.

All of this to say he’s a good rapper and should stop surrounding himself with those evil buffalo bums. I’m glad he’s gotten his flowers now

It was Tacklebox, Going Camping from that tape was my favorite Cool Kids song for years. I think it’s funny seeing Boldy be part of Griselda in modern times when I’ll always associate him with The Cool Kids and Asher Roth lol

Same here. He fits in better in his modern crowd but if I’m being honest I much prefer him over that blog production
