i think a lot about my influences, and i'd say my biggest influence is the idea of Hip Hop itself

with that in mind, i find that the classic new york sound inspires me infinitely

big, jay, nas etc.

being from the midwest though, i find that my content fits right into that chicago / detroit state of mind

very blue collar, small town, introspective kind of vibe

when kanye said "chicago - st. louis, st. louis - chicago" i felt that a lot

there is definitely a kinship between us
