I purchased a new Sony stereo thing for my car on OfferUp for $200

Everything went well and the guy had a bunch of 5 star reviews, seemed legit and the box had everything in it with most of the plastic still on everything. I paid cash which is normal for meet ups like this.

I got home and realized the stereo wasn’t the one on the box he gave me his number so I texted him and he replied

He hasn’t blocked me yet... is there still hope to get my money back? should I just accept the L and move on?

why didn't you check if it was the exact stereo you wanted?

I've sold motherboards to ppl on letgo and they wouldn't even open the box to make sure it was what they wanted sometimes... I couldn't believe it lol
