The Sledgehammer hitmaker released his first album in 21 years yesterday. The followup to Up (2002) has been in the works since 1995. He put the project aside many timesss to focus on other things.

Worked on it since I was born, which kind of makes it bittersweet for me to connect to.

Worth a listen!

@op yeah i'm surprised i enjoyed the album as much as i did when i first heard it...it's really great

three different trusted people mixed his album.

I think generally (maybe) the Dark Side mixes bring more focus on details; like the percussion sounds are often more aggressive and sometimes the cinematic qualities are more enhanced. The Bright Side mixes have a more polished, lead vocal-centered focus

playing the dark-side mixes now, even better than my first listen with the bright-side
