Probably due to me being on TikTok or finally understanding what this new generation is listening to

I will always love Lupe Mos Def. Q Tip Jay Z Nas etc stuff like that

But that was a different time btw

So yeah I think I looked down on this new generation and stuff

But now I see it ain’t necessarily bad or dumbed down you just gotta find the right artists

Some of these kids and young artists still making meaningful music it’s just more catchy and s***

Lupe was talking about making another Mural or whatever but as good as it is no one will care and it isn’t really enjoyable to listen to

At this point I takes more skill to be able to relate to the youth and get your point across in a catchy way. You put your message into the way they want it not how it was done 20 years ago

The lyrical ability of our generation isn't as good, but the content is still there, plus more melodies and s*** is added in. So I kinda agree, I try to appreciate both
