Damn this is cool

I really love the drums and percussion and the variance you got going on
Really evokes a strong feeling and vibe
I like what the bells??? Are doing but the melody on them feels slightly off
But other than that I really like it would be interested to hear how vocals fit on it too but even without vocals it’s great

I know you said mixing isn’t done but the 808?? Sticks out a bit when it comes in early on I think it’s because it’s panned left

As a whole this is really really cool
It really transports you and I love the vocals throughout

I don’t listen to enough ambient to say feedback wise but I personally would like to see some sort of a switch up at some point but if it was part of a wider project that could come in the form of a sonic change song to song

l find it hard to judge beats without vocals so id be interested to hear vocals on it
the first half drags a little but the second half when the panning comes in is really slick im a fan

I like the beat and your accent and you've got a really good sense of melody
I also love vocal modulation and what youre doing effect wise
you should have a look at some of Jean Dawson's music. pretty different genre but his vocal effects are incredibly satisfying

the thing I would say you most need to work on is your voice and tone itself. there's just times where it feels a little off I cant really explain it but its also just a slight lack of mic presence. youre doing a good job of varying emphasis and stuff it just doesnt quite feel as natural as it could

I wish that lead synth was a little more edgy and cutting but that might be more mixing. it just feels a little too filtered

I also like the parts where you get that pulsing effect more pronounced in the second half maybe try to play that up more

mic presence needs a little work especially when its this type of rap id like to see him emphasizing the punchlines harder and the vocal mixing is slightly off at times feels like he recorded it on a mid mic

also epicnickbad is an AWFUL name lmao but I feel like thats intentional

reminds me of Arca a lot - this track in particular. if you haven't already heard it you should definitely take some notes cause she is an absolute genius at sound design (produced about half of Yeezus)

only thing I'd really say is to play around with vocal effects and sound design a bit more. the key with tracks like this is you gotta get everything to fit together like a glove when its quite stripped back like this
