Where should I start to learn about Howard Zinn and humanitarianism?

I heard his name pop up over the years, but he passed away some time ago.

    Could anyone recommend me anything?

Honestly, as many historians believed this book isn’t definitive “history of US you might not taught in school”. They just more like to debunk this like Guns, Germs, and Steel. It really shows that Howard has an agenda in his mind to shed a negative light based on lack of citations. It’s good to have a balanced view and be skeptical of it. Don’t believe them fanatical coomies change your mind completely.

Yeah but it presents more of an argument with little less agenda in mind. Pretty much he tackle a big topic in many disciplines comparing western civilization and the rest is still lagged behind. If you want to read it, I don't mind it but just be skeptical of the book as more of an argument than facts you should know.
