    A YT channel?

Will it jut be you? Will you have guests? A co-anchor?

What is the format? Will you discuss one movie/album per video? Or do a video a week about everything you watched/heard that week?

You need to sit down, get a sheet of paper and a pen, and brainstorm an outline of everything you want to do

Yes i'm planning on making a youtube channel. It would mostly be me, and maybe a friend or two on occasionally if they're into the topic im making.

The format for my vids would be semi-scripted, edited content where it would basically be me talking about the topic, with maybe some info about the artist, or actors/directors if its a video about a specific movie or album that i feel like i really wanna go in-depth about. I will also include footage spliced in from the trailer or music video sometimes too when it's relevant to break things up a bit visually. Sometimes i"ll provide a in-depth a***ysis and sometimes i will just drop something like "hey these projects were good this week", or " these are my top albums of 2020". ect.

I would rather go for a more edited approach than a freeform way so i can make sure i articulate what i'm trying to say better. I want it to be a chill experience that could maybe put people onto new content, and imma try to stay away from negativity when possible, because a lot of the acts i like are smaller indie artists these days.

I know for movie channels it’s super hard to blow up unless you do a niche like certain horror or something

I watch a lot of movie YouTube channels (usually horror) and I would be glad to give you real feedback and more advice if you do start this @op

You should pull a Jay Pharoah for some episodes and have “special guests” pm you acting as famous artists. Lol
