Appreciate this man. Will look into those trails
JMT took my friend about 40 days to do, takes you from the canadian to mexican border by way of joshua tree, the eastern sierras, then the cascades
you see some of the best of what inland california and PNW has to offer.
I'd highly recommend having extensive camping and wilderness experience

I don't have much camping experience, so will work on that
Went Madrid/Barcelona in 2023, it was great
Since then I’ve been to LA and Chicago and enjoyed both.
I want to go to New York soon and also Mexico City. And back to LA lol
I’m from Chicago, I just landed in Guatemala based off soul calling/intuition. That’s how I always travel and it’s never steered me wrong, ever. Try going where ever speaks to you, it doesn’t always have to makes sense to the mind. You’ll be surprised how life unfolds.
op imma be real tho ur not getting "lost in nature" in europe unless ur in scandinavia or iceland or very select areas of the balkans. one of the most highly developed areas in the world
go hike the PCT or JMT or the AMT in the US if you want a temperate, forest oriented experience
doing the PCT this summer
No love for the AT
For exploring nature and hiking outside of America, go to either Southern West Europe (Portugal, Spain, Italy, South France, Switzerland) or South East Asia (China, India, Myanmar, Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam) or Southern/East Africa (Uganda, Tanzania, Zimbabwe, Kenya, Mozambique, Madagascar, South Africa) or Australia
