This was in Feb fam. He’s not here now. He’s quarantining in his house. I was just sat thinking about it after my girl was on the phone to him and had the impulse to share it.
Luckily, he’s being very cautious in Poland. We were supposed to be there now (would have been on our first day there now). But they, obviously, cancelled all flights. Poland’s government acted pretty fast and banned all flights when they got to around 4 cases or so (can’t remember actual figure, don’t quote me). But I’m thankful that the Polish government were so proactive because deaths and cases are pretty low there compared to here in the U.K.
I’m worried about him but confident he will be fine. He’s being looked after well by my girl’s mother who lives with him back in Poland.

He’s an 83 year old Polish guy who lived his entire working life under Soviet rule. I don’t think he saw any other race but white until the 90s when communism ended.
