I was just making Toast. i got this 2 toast toaster but decided I wanted 3

All of them were set at 2 minutes. However I realized the third toast was much toastier than the others. then I reallzed that the Toaster stayed hot after the first two. Do you heat up the toaster before toasting your first toasts?

yeah I usually eat whole grain bread but I mean having a toast for some breakfast sometimes cant hurt.
