I had a lot of link and sold. Smart contracts will be great. Now that is how crypto can help. The underlying tech is really what is helpful but most of the crypto are unusable and are just investments.

Man, I bought a fake I’d with Bitcoin like beginning of 2016

Phones weren't easy to use for older folks when they first came out neither was computers. Same with crypto as it evolves it will be easier. Some of ya being too shortsighted itt

bro, why are people so scared of governance or regulation unless it's a corrupt country. This is confusing to me, unless you're a criminal what is there to hide. It's so easy to lose your money or get scammed in crypto. You can mistype one letter when sending to a wallet and your money is gone forever without a trace. Why would anyone want to live in a world like that. This means no chargebacks or disputes either if someone screws you. I think banks and gov need to get with the times. But a fully decentralized system doesn't even make sense

that is a very true point, i guess my issue isn’t with systems of power itself, but how they are governed. i think there’s a lot of issues from the top down though.

i still stand by the belief that we should resolve these inequality issues before we enter a market dominated by crypto

crypto is inequal as well. Notice the pyramid schemes in crypto, it mimics mlm. The first people in make the most shill it to a bunch of people even if the project is terrible.

the main problem I have with crypto is the community. you have a bunch of people making videos about crypto who don't have a clue about the underlying technology or finance/investments telling people to do X or Y. another problem is that people overhype everything because it's in their interest to see it grow in value.
