bruh something like this would be dope to find. is it good?
It's on Spotify lol. It's kind of like conscious Christian music from St Louis 2004. Pretty dusty but it was neat to dig it up

still stuff like that is pretty neat. just imagine finding a lost gem from a local artist that'd be cool
Early 90s n especially the 80s are barely catalogged online :/
this guy on youtube is archiving all the old underground s*** that isn't well known from various cities around the country
memphis gets all the focus, with the big popularity of soundcloud rap, but theres a lot of gems outside
bro I've never seen that cover in my life and yet the entire thing top to bottom is nostalgic af
you should listen to the album if you never heard it, its fantastic
you might come across stuff like this if you go thrift shopping. i mostly run into dead-ends. but when i find something as amazing as this, it's truly crazy
i've found some cassette tapes & vinyl at my local record stores! i've got a bunch of CDs too
mind of mystikal on cassette
make em say uhh, guerrilla warfare (original pressing), ha by juvenile (just the single), tha block is hot (single) on vinyl
i feel like i hit the jackpot every time i find something new lol. i'm having a hard time finding anything before 1998 though

Guerrilla Warfare on vinyl!?!? f*** that's amazing
it's also nice that tw3 probably knocks back 100 corny labels a year begging to repress his s*** while keeping a healthy live show fanbase
It's kinda funny because 90s underground south music/"phonk" is bigger in Eastern Europe than in America in terms of fanbase
TWIII did a show in Moscow a few years ago and that s*** was live and people knew his songs

That blows my mind how far music can travel, especially when it's just made for a local scene and would probably be lost to time if it wasn't random archivists digging out of basements and record shops
