I respect his opinions, and he does do things for the black community. Kim and Kanye are actively working on prison reform. But the fact that he has not said a thing about the issues at hand makes me either think he has something big coming, or he really is stuck in limbo politically, and just going against the grain cuz he don’t like when people tell him how to think. Would save his reputation tbh if he tweeted this lol. Only hot takes in this b****.

Im usually in agreements with people who comment “not ANOTHER thread” on this take. But the state of the world right now, we really need “Never let me down” Ye back. He should be standing at the frontline of these protests. Are the cops gonna really risk shooting a celebrity that powerful? Would trump backpedal his opinions if his token black celebrity drew a line like that? What was the point of prison reform anyways if trump is really going to start mass incarceration and killing of black people on unheard of levels with the insurrection act? Sometimes I feel like Kanye is playing the very very long game like how can he go from being the guy that said “George Bush doesn’t care about Black people” to being Trump’s mate? There must be some kind of long term plan that Ye is following either to help grow his business, help push prison reform etc.
