Seems like in 2013 the doctor in question was sued for falsely billed Medicare and Medicaid. The hospital paid a $520,000 settlement. The more I read, the more it seems like he is taking advantage of the fact these are poor immigrant women in order to line his pockets with Medicaid and Medicare money.

The language barrier and lack of concern for this population puts them at extreme risk of unwillingly consenting to procedures that they may or may not needed.
