I got two thoughts on this

first this is commendable as f***. I hate trump but I respect anyone trying to find a way to use their influence positively even if it means trying to work with someone that awful

second this is dumb. I respect this if it was earlier during his term but right now its October of an election year. coming out with this s*** is not gonna result in any positive policy it just gives Trump another Black person to parade around to try and win support

I have no problem with Cube trying to fix problems he sees and talking to the current government to do that. The problem is it’s an election year. The very end of an election year. It’s completely political. If this happen earlier it would be fine but it did not. The timing makes this weird and Ice Cube should see that.

I hope Cube realizes that this bill is gonna have to leave his sight and he’s gonna have very little influence on how the final product turns out. I doubt it’ll be called the platinum plan and I doubt a senate full Republicans is gonna allow such a liberal bill to pass.
