So if an American citizen is killed, theoretically what would happen? Lets say it’s a white man.
Would they claim it’s eye for an eye (i.e. Ashley Babbit) or just show themselves for the most evil group of devils towards their own people we have ever seen in government?
They’ll take their badge away and be on leave..
Might go to trial, deem it as “justified” and be reinstated..
How many American citizens are killed by law enforcement
By cops? Daily. Unfortunately that’s the reality
But by the active Marines? In this situation that’s at the forefront right now? That kind of feels like different territory in terms of the magnitude. Would be Kent State 2.0

Literally nothing would happen
Especially with trump in office he’d just say the feds are doing their job and protesters incited it
Yeah drop the nuke I’m done

Again more power to the people out there. I hope this is just posturing and nothing traumatic actually happens
Just throwing this out there to anyone in the areas
If you see ICE Activity anywhere you go, you can report it to the Rapid Response hotlines in your area.

f*** that dumbass, bro thinks hes an elected official
You have to remember about 74 million people voted for this to happen.
Yes this is a very aggressive tactic and it shouldn’t be weaponized like it is but they have clear authority and the go ahead from the gov to do this from this administration that again people voted for.
let me also state that Obama deported over 3 million undocumented immigrants during his presidency.
Unfortunately some things will go wrong with how ICE operate , unnecessary detainment of actual documented citizens, separation of families, but they are also deporting the undocumented criminals.
But playing the violence card is just going to embolden the right even more and things will get even worse.

Do you think a good percentage of people that’s out looting and causing chaos are for the cause or are they using this protest for their own individual anarchy?
You didn’t answer my question about what your alternative would be in that situation?
I’m sure you’d agree that 74 million people did not vote specifically to violate the constitution, or even more broadly about illegal immigration. People vote due to multiple issues (and I would say the economy was the largest driving factor in this election). If Trump came out on stage and drowned a baby live, I don’t think you’d say “well, 74 million people voted for this so”
The deportation of illegal immigrants is not the issue at hand here. The issue is the methodology used, which is currently resulting in mass violations of due process and thus mass constitutional violations.
Assume im a police officer and think you’re drunk driving, should I be able to pull you over, and then with no further questioning or testing, just take you and throw you into jail? Probably not, right? And let’s say I did anyway but you weren’t drunk, you’d probably want a lawyer and a trial? Well, what if you were denied that and just kept in prison forever?
Now assume I’m an ICE officer and think you’re an illegal immigrant, should I be able then, with no further questioning, take you and deport you? Deny you any access to a lawyer or legal proceedings? Because that’s exactly what is happening right now.
Do I think that every single person at these LA protests is acting in good faith in response to the above? No, obviously not. But do I understand why people would respond with violence and destruction to what I outlined above? Of course.
So I ask you again, Let’s say someone came to your house and tried to take your family member or friend, and you knew that the likelihood was that you would never see them again and that you had no possible legal pathway to stop it, what would you do?

Man f*** this piece of s***. This is all a joke to these scumbags
responding as an official with gifs and memes shows a lack of empathy. it makes me sick to my stomach whenever i see these spineless pieces of s*** post like this
As a latino in LA these last few days have weighed so heavy. I've felt an anger like none other. S*** is heartbreaking. Through it all though I'm proud as f*** of my city for showing up time and time again. F*** ICE
It absolutely kills me that this is probably going to make Trump’s approval rating increase
F*** this country
Just a little bit of critical thinking allows you to understand that the Trump administration precipitated the conditions that led people to revolt.
