It's not a stupid question. You can say Drake's perception online was truly impacted but there hasn't been any real damage to his career. He's still selling out shows everywhere he goes. He dropped an album this year that surpassed commercial expectations. His catalog streaming numbers have only increased since 2024. There's still excitement and anticipation for anything he does.

The idea that he has to come back from anything is only a narrative that exists on the internet.

For Drake, I think his desire for his next project to be very successful is less about him putting on a comeback and more about showing that there was a legitimate attempt to take him out last year and he's still as big as ever because it failed.
