Been meaning to check her music out

"0" is more accessible, but def try this too because it's much more lushly produced than previous albums

even my mom loves 0 and she's p ignorant to most things Japanese lol

Just randomly hopped into it, right now I’m listenin to the album with the green cover, her voice is beautiful

off one listen not quite sure whether this is up there with her best stuff like 0 and Pneuma, but I do love this sound. I'll need some more listens for sure. Hagupit is beautiful and Pilgrimage prolly my fav and instant classic Aoba

Need to check out her even more ambient project from last year too, "parfum d'etoiles" and "ohayashi" on here are gorgeous and among my favorite moments on here even without vocals. Def feels like she's coming into her own more and more with this just as a producer and artist

lol I think that's actually the same way I started "Imperial Smoke Town" is def one of her best tracks. Green and white album are both -core for sure, you actually got me relistening to both atm and I still love them a lot, they're just so damn comfy to listen to Like your heart rate actually slows down lol.

0 still brings her songwriting to a different level tho

I’m actually listening to Imperial Smoketown right now, I’m surprised how fleshed out these songs feel with just the guitar and her voice, I think she might be my new favorite artist

Yeah it's magic, both her playing and her voice are already so captivating you don't even need anything else (on the live albums tho it's also great to hear her collab tho)

Here's a little something from when I saw her live. It was such a beautiful little setting for her, playing on a little field for like 100 ppl

and this while I was literally leaving thousands of ppl watch Björk ending her set with fireworks lol

Sounds pretty worth it to me, I’m sure a gang of people recorded that Bjork set so you could really watch it if wanted to, but with a crowd that small it’d pretty hard to find this, so far I’m really enjoying her work, I’ll prolly spend my night working through her albums

Plus that stage is amazing, all those little candles really help set the mood

0% is a fantastic live album too

Actually I only watched the beginning of Björks set because I wanted to see Thundercat for a bit before going back across the entire site to see Aoba, where on my way I noticed the fireworks behind me lol

Then when I went back to my tent to sleep I heard Wednesday Campanella play next to me who later ended up another favorite artist lol. That festival was absolutely insane, honestly don't think I'll ever have another experience quite like that... Such a beautiful setting too in those green mountains
