Husk_Lmaooooo so you know about that too haha. Mercedes did a lot of that too. Their first C class which was known as the 190 series had parts from the E class and S class to keep engineering and production cheap. It was kind of a Frankenstein car that turned out to be an absolute beauty of a product
Yup. I'll eventually have to do an engine swap on my E30 too, the M42 in it is probably on its last legs unless I can find another cylinder head. I found a replacement for the one that was originally cracked, but the one I got has some of the threads stripped on the valve cover and upper timing cover. Being held on with RTV to keep the oil leaking at the moment
I've been debating on trying to buy totaled E36 or E46 M3 off of copart or something. I can probably find a 328i or 330i for cheaper though.
I havent really decided what I want to do with my 280zx.
