i feel like most people kind of consider it a movie soundtrack even though its an actual studio album by outkast.
I actually never listened to it, literally, but heard everything else
It and Stankoia are the black sheep for "real rap" fans
Wonder why this one is super ignored tho even by the general public
stankonia a classic imho
idlewild is dope, i considered it more of a soundtrack even tho its really not
This album was incredible. If they didn’t market it as a soundtrack, it would’ve done so much better commercially
Honestly, get rid of some of the tracks and skits and it's a solid project. Came to this realization couple months ago when I relistened

wasn't a bad album it actually soundtracked summer 2006 for me but i cant help but think outkast wasted their peak powers to make it when they probably could've made something way crazier but i think dre prolly felt like he was going crazy after the love below
maybe cause it was a movie soundtrack and outkast themselves is only on a few tracks together.
ruined their streak of all classics so i pretend it's not part of the canon. still a decent project tho
My heart is like a marching band
I'm a fan in the stands
Yes I am and I'm hollerin hey baby
Everyone in Atlanta know/loves this song.
actual classic
makes me want to travel back to 2006
It's ignored cause it's not all that good, and is more of a companion piece/soundtrack to the movie without it being labeled as a soundtrack. Some extremely good songs but overall you can remove it from the Outkast discog and not much will be missed.
Morris Brown an incredible song though.
Everyone in Atlanta know/loves this song.
sleepy brown feature means it's gonna be a hit
1h18 it's not long, but many tracks
yeah. some filler that could be cut down
i think it's pretty clear that the best album length for rap is around that 40-55 minute mark
I just listened to my old CD of this recently, the clean version. Honestly this is my favorite OutKast album f*** it
