I was speaking to Mike Chav on discord or it might have been DJ TJ and they said the version that was gonna be on Act 2 was a Jay Elec only song and this was before Big Sean had a verse on it. Once Big sean begged for it and put his verse on it was then a Big Sean song and Sean got Kendrick on it and Kendrick did what he did. Jay Elect had no idea what was going on with the song at that point
