They are paying over $20 an hour in my area. Job application is pretty straight forward, they have to do a background check afterwards too.

The Census will happen no matter the situation over the next few months. The data you collect will be used to shape congressional districts, plan where schools are built, etc. No matter your political affiliation, the Census is for the greater good.

You'll also have government experience u can throw on your resume afterwards

helps if u apply to government jobs afterwards, as they always prioritize prior government employees (military, census, americorps, etc)

Also, try Costco/Safeway/Winco/Walmart. Grocery stores in my area are hiring people off the street.

I applied back in August but I just heard back on Friday

They will ask for your license if you say you have a car. Lots of liability issues

I don't have a car but they said it's cool if I bike and take the bus
