While making it I was kinda thinking either a documentary or like a collection of visualisers / music videos

It has nothing to do with your design (all are executed great), more with the fact that the diamonds are shiny objects which create a huge contrast with the vintage look of VHS. So it looks a little weird to me, but that could be me being off

That's fair. I found that WATTBA was the hardest do do anything interesting with since I don't have a lot to work with on the cover and it isn't as iconic as IYRTITL where it being minimal makes it look like a homemade VHS
