Oct 16, 2023I def wouldn’t go that far but let’s not act like Drake albums haven’t been the biggest events in hip-hop for a decade now regardless of all the noise
Prior to that the biggest events were Kanye albums and prior to that Jay-Z albums (you could argue 50 and Wayne but both of them really only had 2 albums that were megastar events GRODT, The Massacre, C3, & C4 respectively)
If Drake hangs it up there would be nobody to step up and fill that void as far as big event albums go
