well that's where subjectivity comes in. two fans can stand next to each other and one can think Scorpion is his best and the other thinks it's his worst. it is what it is
when it comes to an artist in the business of creating and selling music i don't see how you avoid branding your content, especially when you're at a Drake or Kanye level. but idk you're not the only one who holds that opinion on pretentiousness so maybe i just look at art a different way.

you know what let me not say that. i guess it depends on what's being looked at. a lot goes into music and different elements are more or less important depending on the person
i will say TLOP may be the most intimate look into Ye's life and the album's um...rawness contributes to that.
