Also wasn't the bet Cypher a response to Drake when he said "I don't know why they be lying but your s*** not that inspiring' that was a response not a bait imo

Bruh why you lowkey seem agitated lol im not even saying something crazy. If you don’t see how bad Kendrick has been wanting smoke with Drake for years then that’s on you. I wasn’t even saying that it’s a bad thing no? Drake has been the biggest artist in hiphop for years now commercially and Kendrick been hungry to prove that he can murder the biggest when it comes to putting it on wax

Kendrick’s career is over. Drake absolutely obliterated him to a point where he’ll never be able to recover. Push Ups is diss of the decade. Drake exposed Kendrick for being short and doing pop features. What can Kendrick possibly say to Drake to recover?

what did I say that was a reach? Isn’t Kendrick one of the rappers of our gen with the most competitive spirit? Hasn’t he been baiting Drake because said competitiveness makes him want to Duke it out with somebody who’s been on top in the industry for this long? Hasn’t he been more direct in throwing shots than Drake has been?

I'm sorry but Drake is the one that's been sneak dissing and trying to bait all this time because he is still butthurt over control after all these years

What I'm saying is Kendrick dissing Drake came from a place of competitiveness and sportsmanship
Drake dissing Kendrick came from a place of b****nigganess

You literally ducking what I’m saying, where is the cap in what I stated

And your posts be sounding hella angry, I feel like since im not a Stan who has to pick a side I can see things more objectively in this situation

They both have been throwing subs for years but Kendrick has been wanting smoke a lot more it seems. It felt like Drake was either too scared to go toe to toe with Dot before or he felt like it wasn’t “worth his time yet” or some s*** out of arrogance

Either way there’s a reason why so many are surprised by the fact that Drake dropped a full on diss track and that’s bc he never seemed ready to go at Dot the same way Dot always seemed ready to go at Drake

Funny thing is I’m giving more props to Kendrick in these posts but you making it seem like I’m caping for Drake?

I feel like they both do it for the sport of it, they both love hiphop and the culture. Yeah ofc there’s probably personal pettiness involved, maybe from both sides. But the fact is that we do not know the ins and outs of their relationship and what has been brewing besides what we do already know

I personally think Drake was lowkey scared for Dot all these years, but since the reception of Mr Morale he feels more comfortable in turning this into a W? Who knows, but it certainly came out of the blue for me and a lot of other ppl that Drake dropped a Kendrick diss instead of resorting to vague subs like he usually does

People also underestimate how ready these two always have to be for potential beef between themselves and I think Drake, considering he's been in several beefs throughout the years, is more than ready.

This is why I give Drizzy the edge in this. Kendrick is yet to release a diss track

This would def hurt his legacy, he been aggressively baiting Drake since 2013, and he’s the rapper rapper out of them both. So any type of L Kendrick gets will cut deep

Just don't say he has been aggressively baiting Drake
Going to Compton to shoot a music video for a song with sneak disses is aggressive baiting imo

What do you mean? This is the most blatant verse of Kendrick targeting Drake that he's ever dropped, of course he was going to respond with a diss. Just like when Pusha went out of his way Drake responded with Duppy

Yeah and where did that get him after Pusha was done? Y’all acting like it’s so crazy, Drake could have kept it moving but he chose to put on the gloves for hiphop. I respect it tbh

Whatever fam they both been dissing each other I’m only gonna explain it once more since we actually agree on pretty much everything so this discussion feels pointless but

My main thing was despite them both sneak dissing each other for years, Kendrick has always been more direct about it hence the “aggressively baiting”. Drake is number 1 in terms of worldwide appeal and has been in the industry just a bit longer. It’s logical for Kendrick to be more hungry to instigate given that he used to be the up and coming hungry underdog and he’s more of a rapper’s rapper than Drake

I never even listened to Drake but definitely respect him for stepping up. He really has nothing to prove, Kendrick, Pusha, etc are the rappers. Is it really surprising if Kendrick wins or the fact Drake isn’t backing down.

I don't think that's baiting because the way I see it:
Kendrick called out the whole industry on Control -> Drake (was the only one that) got offended but didn't have the courage to directly confront Kendrick so he starts sneak dissing (thus is what I call baiting) -> Kendrick continues to be a real nigga responding directly to it.
From my point of view Drake is the one hurt and baiting. Kendrick is just responding to Drakes baits imo

A response =/= bait, Drake baited k dot o NWTS before that cypher
But yeah, they definetly lowkey love the fact that they got each other as competition
