If Kodak died tomorrow he would be undisputed as a legendary figure in his generation. and this is with a pending rape case and years of on and off jail time. Kodak isn't really an artist who sells a lot first week but his fanbase is down to ride for him. i really think that he would probably be as big as you think if he wasn't in and out of jail and didn't waste some of his hottest years not being able to tour as much as he could but he's still a big artist. it just doesn't seem that way because the media doesn't plaster his face everywhere until he has a controversy. me personally i feel like he kinda declined quality wise too after 2018 but Dying To Live is one of my favorite rap albums. he still makes good songs but he's not had an album that good since he got out of jail the last time

Future had been in the game about 10 years while Kodak had like 5, and plus Kodak had been in jail for like half of those 5 years so really he had 2.5 years
And he was only like a billi or 2 off from futures views which was like 5 billion. So Kodak had like 2-3 billi in a quarter of the time
Not to mention Future had the Drake stimulus
