Afro-Latino or Black doesn't make any sense.
Afro-Latinos are Black. Lol. If both parents are Black you're Black. The discussion at this point is ethnicity.
Race: Black
Ethnicity: Puerto Rican (Latino), African American
Nationality: American
pretty sure the race would be human not black lol
The opposite actually they refrain from acknowledging any of their blackness at all often
Or you know we are not a clone of a single human being

Oh my bad
I don't know if this is true. People are finding out of they have small percentages of different DNA Other than what is typically classified as white and they are still white passing
Miles Morales white passing, though?
Theres 2 separate convos really.
Theres the the colorism thing which might make you disassociate yourself from your black identity abit. But then you got racist people and groups like nazis/kkk etx who believe in racial purity, where you gotta be 100% white. You wont be seen as mixed race or mulatto etc, you’ll be seen as black
Even back in the day, the Irish werent seen as racially pure, probably why they get along with Caribbean's so much over here in the UK lol
Puerto Rican’s have African roots in them anyways. I’ve always just considered myself half and half. My mom is black and my dad is Puerto Rican so I feel you OP
