The Clipse have 2 classics.
Daytona is a classic.
He has maintained relevance for 20 years and has perhaps been more consistent than any other act to maintain relevancy for the same amount of time.
I don't see Push in top 5 convos nearly as much as I should. If he drops a classic here I think it's very difficult to keep him out of that conversation.
Classic group projects
Classic mixtapes
Classic solo albums
Sounds about top 5 to me
top 10
Top 10 - 20 depending on what people find important in their rankings. He's never really had a miss for an album
top 5s are usually mainly about relevancy. that's why nobody ever has someone underground in their top 5 even if they're clearly better than the biggest mainstream hip hop legends (not suggesting pusha is underground, i mean real lesser known artists aren't talked about in that convo)
higher than wayne
Wayne's feature run in the last 2 years alone >> Pusha T
Top 25. Pusha bullying the biggest rapper of our generation solidified him and on top of that he has a classic album (DAYTONA)
by classic do you just mean album that you like a lot?
There's a different between those and the actual classics that define the era.
Daytona 20 min EP that was internet significant. The classics you hear in real life.
Clipse got actual and cult classics though.
It’s really crazy how overrated Push is on this site
Like his musics nice and hes a great MC but he’s not in these all time convos the way yall force him to be
If it was anyone else yall would be b****ing incessantly about how one dimensional he is
Where’s the same concern trolling “b b b but where’s the social issues!!!” Yall cry about when it comes to Drake lol
Top 30 if he’s lucky
I know when you break it down on paper his career looks GOAT but he’s missing something to be truly top tier, I can’t put him over damn near anyone in Wu Tang, let alone Jay Nas Big Pac etc
top 30-40 probably
1 million dollar question: how much do you have aubrey higher than push in your list?
