Rihanna thought Rachel Dolezal was a "hero" for identifying as a black person.

“I think she was a bit of a hero, because she kind of flipped on society a little bit,” Rihanna said in a recent interview with Vanity Fair. “Is it such a horrible thing that she pretended to be black? Black is a great thing, and I think she legit changed people’s perspective a bit and woke people up.”

    Because that’s possible

just curious so it’s socially acceptable because this is possible?

and vice versa the other one is not?

I also wanna add in that i really think that if someone is trying to transition their race that they should accept the consequences of that transition, for instance if a white man transition to black, they have to accept the social implications of that.

I can spend time physically changing my body through hormones & other procedures/surgeries.

I cannot, however, simply become a white man because I want to identify as one. My ancestry and all that comes with it cannot be changed.

The media didnt protect Michael because they were against him the second he bought the Beatles catalog. He'd probably still be alive today unscathed if he hadnt done that.

And here’s the thing op. Yes a person can identify as whatever they want in 2020 and they can get as many ops as they want, but unless you physically change your dna and blood then have you really changed anything?

Well race is more of a culture thing. If you don't claim your own race it comes off as being ashamed of your own culture.
