Now Drake drops a track that isn’t bad, but isn’t offensive in any way and he’s pretty much solely defending. It just makes everything that happened before seem kind of pointless in a way even though it felt huge

KTT will be in denial for a long time (maybe forever) ever but Drake’s response saved him. He’s still gonna have to deal with Not Like Us being a f***ing bop, and I would NOT want to tour in LA if I were him, but he pulled himself back up.

If Kendrick says nothing from here, the daughter allegation turns out to be false, and Drake never gets accused of/investigated for/charged with s***abuse it is going to take a lot of air out of MTG since those were the bombshells. And same goes for the original cover art. The hype between when Kendrick dropped MTG and Not Like Us was INSANE but as things settle down it people reflect back (or 10 years into the future) I think it’ll look and feel different. I think it’ll be seen as a relatively even battle.
