So I was thinking, if you ran into a screenwriter on the street and he gave you about 10-15 minutes to pitch the outline of a movie you’d like to see made, what would you have in mind? Just give the imaginary writer the basic plot points and anything else you think would be crucial to the production. Try to pretend your life was on the line, and that failing to convince the hypothetical suits and financial backers deciding whether or not to fund your film that your story would be a box office smesh would result in you being executed.

I’ll come back with my own idea on what movie I’d attempt to write (or have someone write for me), but I kind of feel like the concept of this thread itself would be a decent idea for a film on its own, so I’m gonna take my time with what will basically be my second contribution to the hypothetical scenario I just came up with, yfm .
