In 2008 democrats were against gay marriage now republican party is okay with it for the most part. Republicans in 10 years will be what democrats are today

less about the poster in question or questions being asked by people in these threads and more a criticism @ the people who run Vox and make these types of videos.

I never voted Republican in my life, but I’m probably “further right” than most all on this site, so I watched it to give you a good answer.

Maza is generally right that the Republicans are clinging to every branch on the way down not to give the other party what they want. But, well, unless you are the kind of person who thinks governments Doing Something is inherently good (I’m not), why should Republicans not gum up the works when presented with a Democratic platform that their base finds unconscionable? 71 million people voted for trump, so clearly there is an anti-Democrat constituency. Asymmetrical polarization follows a populace who is not satisfied with the other side moreso than satisfied with their own dudes.

I’d like to think if Republicans were going whole hog with evil fascism, the Dhimmicrats would try and stymie them similarly... right? If not, that’s their own problem.
