I’m just curious on why most attacks on Asian people lately has mostly been by African Americans. And I know this community is mostly by black people so I’m just genuinely curious on what this community thinks about it.

I agree with you, the media is probably telling lies and incite race wars and s***. But there are a lot of African Americans attacking Asians lately, I could link a couple of sources of black on Asian crimes. But I’m not trying to stir up a race war so let’s leave it at that.

I’m open to start up a conversation about this, because that was what I was trying to do by starting a thread last time(it would be great if this thread title gets changed too) .

I think the main point that I want to make is that there are a lot of anti Asian hate going on rn, and the media is trying to portray it as mainly black people attacking Asians. And I want to know what it is like from an African American perspective why it is so easy for the media to make these anti asian acts look like it is mainly by black people.

From my perspective, African Americans have been fighting racism discrimination for so long , why are they falling for the media, believing that Asian are the cause of the corona virus. When African Americans have been victims of racial discrimination for so long already.

And please don’t say that it it not the issue of African Americans, because we are all minorities living in America, and Asians even more so. It would be great if we can all help each other stand strong.

For example how the f*** are black people the ones falling for media bullshit when you're sitting here wondering why blacks are the main ones attacking asians? Your only source for that is the same 3-4 videos of the black men attacking elderly asians (which is still wrong af. not excusing that). Isn't it funny that we're having this convo about blacks when in the same time period a white man killed what was it....3-4 asian women in a salon???
