Uzi's been playing a role since 2017, trying to be some quirky, anime loving emo kid to appeal to the "I just got into rap in 2016" crowd.
LIR1 was on the melodic side but even it had a balance between that a straight rapping bars
Then once XOTL blows up he just goes full into the cringe emo phase, honestly his worst gimmick.
Thankfully EA (not that garbage deluxe) was a return to form because it's nothing but straight bars song after song.
I'm glad he linked with Future too, I'm sure Future made him cut out that cringe gimmick to in the studio because that collab tape was surprisingly rap heavy from both of them.
I don't get EA hate at all, it's literally pure rap with hard bars, y'all need to shut up crying over wanting sad boy crying Uzi back
This is the same energy as eminem's 'real rap' fans
Grow up dude music is subjective
EA is the definition of top tier
Yeah bro he delivered exactly what fans should've wanted. I don't understand why everyone hates on it
he even dropped his melodic s*** grails on deluxe to appease everyone
I feel like twitter is gonna force uzi to keep going backwards when he's already in the right direction
shut the f*** up
don't see how what i said is controversial
hope he keeps this route too.
If Uzi and Baby release a tape next year it's definitely gonna have streams on lock
It was fine. Not as incredible as these nerds make it out to be but not unlistenable. That’s what i’d call some mid
First sentence is facts but watch out
EA isn’t bad
But if you waited 3 years for it to drop its mid. It’s circumstantial mid
Uzi has yet to disappoint me personally
You’re on some bullshit tho about his other projects
