  • Real talk.
I listen to what I like if I don’t like it well I just don’t listen. I got my own s***.
I mean if you want to argue for the sake of arguing then that’s really you, and you probably should’ve been a lawyer in another universe if you aren’t now.

Tbf you have access to the whole multiverse

  • Why don’t you finish your f***ing story, we’re sick of this To Be Continued bullshit

This has been relevant in every era. Watch rap city episodes from the 90s and you'll find a swarm of garbage before getting to a gem or a classics we know today. Every era is littered with mid and you're right you need to find what you enjoy instead of complaining

True, I only find myself complaining about music presented to me whether it be through KTT, radio, or playlists curated to me on Apple Music

it’s funny cause the niggas that cry over the mainstream don’t even say that there’s no good music, they just say there’s no superstar level talent, or they weren’t as good as the dudes in previous eras

they can’t dispute that so they just strawman and make these corny elitist threads

  • Jan 2, 2024

Why not engage in discourse with someone who has a different opinion to something you like? That creates discussion and may even allow you to realize deeper why it is you like something so much as you acknowledge the apparent negatives someone else might be seeing instead of just blindly following your bias.

Art has always been about interpretation and that creates further understanding. Cutting off one end kills conversation and creates an echo chamber

    Yup

In fairness ppl get married, get busy with work, have kids to the point where they just don't have time to do any extra digging around for new music but still lol always annoys me when I hear ppl say that only to find out they just rely on radio and listening to the same 20 songs from when they were younger

I got a friend who's married with 3 kids...cant afford cable or internet at the moment and "doesn't like streaming" off anything other than pandora...anytime I try to put him on to new music it's like I can see it going in one ear and out the other bc he's so focused on the next diaper change or meal he has to make for them kids lol makes me appreciative to not have any

The only time it’s not ur fault is when ur complaining about the lack of a mainstream that you can use to look coooler because you’re actually insecure and lame

    Wait, that’s ur fault too
