Nah Game has a lot of classics. The Documentary is one of the best Rap albums of the 2000s. He’s a cornball manchild who hasn’t made a good song since The Documentary 2.5 (Which s***s on 2 ironically enough) but he’s definitely left his mark on Hip-Hop history.
Game is definitely a West Coast GOAT if nothing else.
I do agree that he didn't really influence or impact the entire game heavy, outside of the G Unit saga. He is definitely the bridge between 90s West Coast and 10s West Coast Rap though and he still deserves some props for holding it down for that side.
we lose two classic albums
i know he’s a total clown but let’s not act like he’s a bad rapper

"I'll be in a red Rolls, white ceilin'
No body, no casket, just blood spillin'
I ain't a new President but I love killin'
They like, “Game, where ya been?”
Blood chillin'"
We'd lose Hate it or love it

'Cause when you die off in these streets, it ain't no coming back
Niggas killed me in my (red) Rolls and blessed my son with that"
Damn this is real. The Documentary is a good album but it's not a damn classic. The game name dropping classics doesn't make it a classic, or one of the best from the 2000s. It was barely one of the best of 2005 tbh. We got Late Registration, Be, The B. Coming, Dangerdoom, Demon Days all in that year alone. I'd put The Documentary after those, just outta top 5 for the year. The Minstrel Show came outfor the Little Brother fans. Not to mention Pimp C and Bun B solos, The Carter 2, Chamillionaire's debut. You take The Documentary out and it's still a good year. Calling The Documentary a classic would be saying there's like 7 classics from 2005.
Hate it or love it is a classic single though. Nothing else came close to that. Even the beef with G-Unit isn't even notable. That's not even top 3 50 cent beefs.
Crack Music feature is nice too but it's not like he made the song. We could get another feat to replace it. OP kinda right. I like The Game but he's not really essential hip hop. On a playlist of the history of Hip Hop we'd lose out on 2-4 songs. Getting 2-4 songs on the playlist is still a great feat though, so overall OP's wrong.
Pusha T falls under this category sans a lunchroom beat and a McDonalds jingle
Lot of other people too
