I get it. The problem is that one person with 10 million isnt enough to make any huge changes in the world when theres so many more a******s out there, rich AND poor actively making things s***tier. You'd need a village of really wealthy people to really make some progress in the world.

BUT the great part about just being a person with 10 milli is that you can change peoples lives on a much more personal level. You could buy someone whos living on the street a haircut, new clothes, some meals for them to eat, etc. You could give someone you know whos struggling to make ends meet cash to pay the next couple months of rent. You could afford to just give a random stranger $100 just because they look like they're having a s*** day. I'd rather do good deeds on a small scale like that with the money than try to solve the bigger issues in the world.
