Future is different because he’s still a very relevant and active musician, so he will probably be able to make a lot of big songs and albums that he has not sold the publishing for, and could theoretically flip the new discography's publishing for just as much money if not more.

When a non active / legend status artist is selling their publishing it’s probably because they want to walk away from music with a big bag.
most artists that are still pretty young and not far removed from their prime would only sell their pub bc they need a fast bag. they would be losing out on a lot of nearly guaranteed profit long term.
Drake is probably dissing an artist who wronged him by saying that he could buy their publishing and give them a bag in order to own that percentage of their music.

he's saying that the money he gets from whatever artist he's referring to is what him and his guys bring to a club like Tootsies and throw in the air to make it rain.
Its a check that comes in on some type of regular basis. not in the industry so I wouldn't know how often it would occur, but its a passive income sort of thing.
I feel like Drake is so high up that he'll drop over 100k on a single night in a club & it means nothing to him. Not saying that he's blowing the entire publishing % overall in one night.
