Unless it's beneficial for your career it's useless.
Anytime I want to talk to someone on a personal level it doesn't happen through social media
Not gonna go back and @ the people who were having this convo itt, but it 100% IS about validation.
Anyone who says, "Well I don't post those pictures for anyone else! I post them for me!"
..thats bullshit
You can take a picture and leave it in your camera roll and thats for you. You can look at it whenever you want. Once you post it on social media, there's a purpose behind that. You want the likes and comments. You want other people to see it and think some type of way about you as a result.
Well if you're posting for social validation you a lame, but it's great for getting b****es 🤷🏽♂️

you dont have to post for validation...
you can post to show people you dont talk to everyday moments of ur life
Literally only use socials for my music & connecting with ppl, other than that I don’t really rock with it
makes sense for people who have a lot of friends, if u dont want to takl to that many people on ur phone theres no point
I don’t use ig for myself but for my art.
And I haven’t used Twitter for a good solid 8 years now I think that concept is just a waste of time.
A waste of your limited time on earth.
people who use social media too often always come off as losers to me. I can sense they are over compensating for something,
Uploading new pics and posting new statuses…
Why would you need the online validation?
social media is only for if you enjoy it, plenty of people don't use social media at all and it doesn't affect their lives. I feel like you're kinda painting everyone a certain way when really some people just enjoy having an active social media presence.
